What is the Safe-Fit System?
It’s a solid, factory-welded system that eliminates problematic and cumbersome clamps. It cuts back on-site installation time typically by 65%, and it minimizes tedious maintenance.

Why is the Safe-Fit System better than the traditional clamping system?
In most other playground systems, clamps are used to hold together parts and pieces of a play structure. The problem being, clamps require continuous maintenance, and their bulkiness has been known to snag hair and catch clothes creating unwanted safety issues. School maintenance people have enough on their plate than to worry about constant playground adjustments.

On an APE structure, the rails, deck brackets and panel braces are pre-welded in the factory – eliminating the need for these problematic clamps. When the time comes for the steel to be coated, it allows every weld to receive a healthy coating of ArmorCoat – an extremely durable and brilliant coating.

Using minimal fasteners, the APE Safe-Fit system locks together with Stainless Steel bolts, creating a steadfast bond for further corrosion resistance and durability. It’s a streamlined system, strong and durable, and it minimizes playground maintenance.
