These are not ordinary bike racks. Each one is a full-sized steel letter — fabricated, welded, and powder coated — that spells out your name, your brand, or your city. They are sculptures that happen to park bikes. Landmarks that happen to be infrastructure.
Imagine the name of your school greeting students every morning. Your brewery name anchoring the patio. Your city spelling itself out on the waterfront. People stop, photograph, and remember them.
We are exploring whether to add these to our lineup at Ape Playground. Nothing is confirmed — this page exists purely to gauge interest. Your feedback shapes our decision.

These are three-dimensional steel sculptures first and bike racks second. They transform any entrance plaza or waterfront into a landmark space that people want to photograph and share.

Structural Grade Steel
Every letter is fabricated from heavy gauge structural steel tubing and welded plate. These are built to withstand Canadian winters outdoor UV exposure and decades of daily use.
Powder Coated Finish
Every rack is powder coated in the colour of your choice — match your brand colours school colours city palette or go bold with something entirely your own. UV stable chip and rust resistant.
Identity And Signage
Beyond bike parking these are identity pieces. Your school your business your park spells its name in steel and owns its space. There is nothing else like it at your entrance.

Every letter is custom. Any word any name any initials in any colour. A single letter for a storefront or ten letters for a waterfront — the system scales to your vision and your space.

The Fonts
One thing we are still working through is the letter style — the typography of the racks themselves. Should the letters be serif rounded script block or something entirely custom? The examples on this page show a few different directions we are exploring.

If we move forward with this product it will be designed fabricated and finished entirely in Point Edward, Ontario, Canada. We believe in Canadian manufacturing and Canadian trades. These racks would be built by skilled Canadian welders and metalworkers using Canadian structural steel.

Structural grade steel sourced from Canadian mills — not imported. Built to Canadian standards for outdoor infrastructure.
Canadian Tradespeople
Every rack would be cut bent welded and finished by skilled Canadian fabricators and welders. Craftsmanship you can see in every joint.

Industrial powder coat finish applied in Canada — UV stable chip resistant and engineered to hold up through freeze-thaw cycles and salt exposure.

Whether we build this product depends entirely on whether enough people want it. We are a Canadian company and we do not take on new product lines lightly. We want to know if the demand is real before we commit to tooling up fabrication and bringing this to market.
